I had happily been wearing contact lenses for some years but my eyes became increasingly sore and uncomfortable. They felt very gritty and the soreness was so severe it was almost like a burning sensation. I was really fed up as I didn't want to go back to wearing glasses. After tests at the Dry Eye Clinic they established that I had MGD and worked out a treatment plan, including the use of a heated eyebag. They were so thorough with my care and took time to explain everything to me. I am also now wearing different lenses and I am thrilled as I can once again wear them all day!

My husband and I have been patients at Ivan Cammack, Chinnor Practice for 10+ years now, my two children (15 & 10) are also patients and have been since the age of 3.
We have always found the staff at the Practice to be more than accommodating and extremely helpful, I can ring with a problem or request an appointment and will always be dealt with extreme professionalism and any issues will be resolved within accepted timescales.
We moved out of the area last October to Northants and we are still registered with Ivan Cammack and will continue to do so as I believe if you go to the multiples you will certainly not get the personal service which we receive from the staff at the Chinnor Practice. Daniel, my son, had his eye test today. He came out of the opticians buzzing! He said that he had just had the best experience in there ever! His words! I asked him if he could elaborate so he mentioned that Tanveer had been very kind in explaining what caused hay fever and how it affected the eyelids. She passed him a tissue when his eyes watered and she was very thoughtful throughout his eye test. Please can you pass on my thanks to Tanveer. Everyone in the opticians is very friendly, but when your own son makes a comment and he's 12, I thought it was good to pass it on.
